I was lucky to be invited to the postdoc conference at Ringberg Castle, bringing together early-career researchers from the Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics (MPA) and the Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics (MPE), even though I am still awaiting my defence (so technically not a postdoc yet). It was great getting to know all the other postdocs at MPA&MPE, and being able to match faces to topics. We had a lot of fun living in the castle for a few days, talking science, playing table tennis, and enjoying the sun.
