I had the opportunity to visit Institut Pascal in Paris-Saclay, France for a week to participate in the 7th Interstellar Institute – a mixture of seminar, workshop, and retreat. I had a great time talking to many people whose names I knew from various papers but did not yet have a chance to meet. I really enjoyed the many discussions we had on ISM structure, modelling, inference, and the physics governing the Milky Way.
I gave a presentation about my paper on mapping the neutral hydrogen gas in the Milky Way.
Title: Spatially Coherent 3D Distributions of HI and CO in the Milky Way
Authors: Laurin Söding
When: 10th of July 2025
Where: Institut Pascal in Paris-Saclay, France
